The River In The Aisle

The Word of the Lord is spoken by a man or woman called by God to walk in the anointing the Lord has placed upon them. Their lives have been transformed by the renewing of their minds to prove to others that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. They have presented themselves to Him as the living sacrifice, so that what is made holy by God will be seen as holy by those who hear the Voice of the Lord through them. They stand on the promise in Revelations 3: 8 that says “I have seen your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it, for you have a little strength, have kept My Word, and have not denied My Name.”

The Power of God will be undeniable in the Word that is sent, with signs and wonders as well as confirmations following what has been spoken in obedience to His leading. Scripture says: that prophecy was not given through any private interpretation,  but holy men of God spoke as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. The person called to this ministry is cognizant of that very fact.  As the prophet is speaking forth the Word he has been given, he is very aware of the means by which he is carried along;  by the Holy Spirit.

As a river carries everything that the water has received from its banks and tributaries and carries it downstream, so is the Holy Spirit carrying you along while you are receiving the Word to be spoken, with the Holy Spirit revealing to you what He is receiving from Jesus and the Father.  For Jesus said “However, when He, The Spirit of truth has come, He will lead you into all truth, for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is MIne and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine, and the Holy Spirit will take from what is Mine and declare it to you.”

The Word of God that is revealed through the prophetic voice has the potential to empower those who receive the Word , “mixed with faith”. For “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”   Many don’t receive it because of unbelief, but after they have seen confirming evidence in the days afterward, they can come to realize there was more to what was spoken than they thought. The initial unbelief does not stop the obedience of the speaker of the Word. On the contrary;  the Lord Himself confirms for him or her every Word of His intent because the Power of God has already been set in motion for the one who believes and therefore speaks.. .

Last Sunday the Lord gave me a prophecy for the church at the end of the service. It was as follows:  “There is a river that is flowing. There is a person in a small boat that has no oars or motor. The person in the boat is getting drenched, soaked as the water is splashing all over him. Even though he is getting soaked, the boat is dry on the inside. He is being carried along with a very swift and powerful current. This aisle here is where the river is flowing. You people are standing on the banks of this river. The anointed one in the boat is calling out to you saying: “Jump into the river,  don’t just stand there on the banks of the river, but jump in. Don’t let this anointing that is flowing just pass you by.. For I have called you by Name, and I have been calling you to flow with the anointing that I have made available for your life, for such a time as this, says the Lord.”

This is a calling that is meant for someone. The Word of God that has been sent will not return to Him void, but will accomplish the purpose for which it is sent. Don’t let yourself just stand on the banks of the river of anointing that the Lord has made available for you life and let it just pass you by.. The power of God is going to change your plans. The anointing of the Holy Spirit is going to show you how to walk with Him and hear the Voice of the Lord. Jesus says in Revelation 3 “Those who overcome will walk with Me dressed in white.” He is the assurance of things hoped for; He is the evidence of the things you don’t see just yet. But  signs and wonders that come with the promises of God will follow those that believe. He is faithful Who promised, and He will do it.
